Memorial Tribute for Bud McKelvey

Bud “Buddyboo” McKelvey, 9/2016 – 3/2026, welcomed into my heart in July of 2017.
Bud brought joy to everyone who met him. His sweet smile and demeanor. His joy and energy was infectious. Bud loved cuddles and booty rubs. He was my road trip partner, drinking buddy, annoying cutie, spoiled sweetie, adorable son, hard life survivor, silly trickster, and day brightener. Bud overcame cancer and a horrific attack a few years ago and was able to enjoy life for a few years after. He will be missed beyond words can describe.

My Bud & Buddy Boo, I will always love you and you will forever be in my heart.

You don’t know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Bud. Thank you so much for sharing some of his story. I can see he meant the world to you and had a tremendous impact on your life. And what a handsome boy 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and he will live on in your heart forever. RIP Bus.
